Here at Coleg Cambria we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our expanding HR team The role will primarily be based at our Deeside site, however, candidates must be willing to travel regularly to other Coleg Cambria locations.

We are looking for candidates who are equipped with the skills to work in an extremely varied, fast pace role. You will provide professional advice on day to day queries on HR matters from managers and employees, and actioning HR related activities for a specified area within the college.

You will be expected to work across a wide range of HR tasks and priorities including providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR related policies and procedures. Supporting managers with recruitment associated activities, including writing new job descriptions, shortlisting, providing panel support at interviews and transactional HR activities.

You will be dedicated to providing a high level of customer service and will be committed to keeping up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice.

This position will require you to work proactively as part of a wider team, and be flexible and adaptable when required

As a HR Advisor iIt will be your responsibility to contribute to and support the development and implementation of policies, processes and projects that support the college’s wider vision and promote a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion.

It is important that you are comfortable working with data and will be able to use data and analytics to understand and identify opportunities for further improvement.

Essential Requirements

CIPD professional qualification to Level 5

Experience of providing advice and guidance to managers on HR related matter

Experience of processing transactional HR procedures
