Salary: 40413 - 47537 Per Annum

We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. The role:

To assist in ensuring the health, safety and welfare of staff, students, visitors and contractors in accordance with current Health and Safety best practices, relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.

• Full Time (37 hours per week)
• Permanent
• £40,413 - £47,537 per annum
• Across all campuses (Swansea)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with the development and implementation of new policies and procedures as required.
• Manage the College Health and Safety Management system ensuring compliance with standards and accreditation is maintained.
• Assist in the operation of the college Internal Health and Safety audits and the inspection program with Learning Area managers.
• To provide on-ground support across all campuses.

About you:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or relevant level 4 Health & Safety Qualification.
• Previous experience of working within Health and Safety role
• Sound written communication skills (e.g. report writing).
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to enable effective contribution to strategic thinking.
