Training Advisor - Health and Social Care (Adults)

Based in Bridgend, this role is customer facing and focuses on supporting Health and Social Care apprentices employed across South Wales. You will ensure that both the apprentices and their employers receive a high level of support and that the apprentices gain the best experience and training possible. The role will involve travel to multiple employer locations as well as working from home and at Head Office.

As the face of the business, the standard of customer service and contact you provide expected to be high and relationship building is essential to the success of this role.

The key duties of the role are:

Visit employers in line with schedules to deliver learning, undertake assessment and complete reviews with apprentices.
Monitor and support apprentices in line with their Learning Plan and qualifications.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of learning and progress at all times.
Provide excellent standards of advice, guidance and support to employers and apprentices
Be vigilant for the welfare and safety of all learners at all times.
Ensure timely completion of all qualifications and courses.
Be proactive in the communication and resolution of issues that affect the timely achievement of learners.
Maximise opportunities to engage and feed back to employers on the progress of their learners.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal applicant will;

Have experience working in the Health and Social Care sector and qualified up to Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care.
Hold an assessor/IQA qualification (not essential) and have experience of work based learning.
Have knowledge of City and Guilds Health and Social Care qualifications.
Have strong communication skills and be confident in dealing with a wide range of contacts.
Have good IT skills.
