An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful team as an Assessor in Childcare. The successful candidate will assess and deliver to learners within the Children’s Care, Play Learning and Development (CCPLD) at levels 2 and 3.

You will be instrumental in supporting the learner to achieve the corresponding qualification and work with employers to ensure organisational and individual goals are met.

With experience of working in the child care sector and an understanding of the qualifications, you will ideally possess a level 5 qualification. The TAQA or A1 Assessor awards would also be desirable together with the competence to deliver and assess up to level 5. Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) literacy & numeracy qualification is essential for this post.

With excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong ILT skills you will have the ability to assess to a high standard in order to motivate, inspire and transfer knowledge to the learner. With attention to detail you will be target driven with a strong focus on quality.

This role is permanent, 37 hours a week and 38 weeks per annum. The pro-rata salary is £18,200.80 - £19,119.32.
