Temporary Teaching Assistant – Level 3


Hours: 27.5hrs hours per week (Term time)

Salary: Grade 6 - £24,054 x 65%

Required: As soon as possible until August 2023

The Governing Body of Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Ynyswen would like to appoint an enthusiastic, sensitive and conscientious teaching assistant.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching staff and will use their own initiative to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups both inside and outside of the classroom. We would expect the successful candidate to establish constructive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations through the medium of Welsh. They will work with the teacher and other support staff to establish an appropriate learning environment in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils work.
