Role Title: Florist Supervisor

We currently have a vacancy for a Florist Supervisor to be based at our floristry shop at our Yale site. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the shop and will be the primary supervisor of the provision ensuring an excellent Floristry service to all customers using the Florist commercial outlet and upholding excellent standards of presentation. You will inspire, mentor and coach Coleg Cambria students studying Floristry, whilst working in the Florist outlet. You will also work collaboratively with the college’s Floristry curriculum team to ensure that our students are receiving exposure and experience to cutting edge floral design trends, techniques and styles.
Essential Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in professional Floristry
Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent)
Excellent and modern skills of floral design trends and styles
Excellent knowledge of floristry techniques, processes and procedures.
Possess sufficient breadth and/or depth of specialist knowledge in Floristry programmes.
A good knowledge of plant care
Ability to motivate, support and lead the work of a team, co-ordinating effort and resources in the florist business in the pursuit of outstanding learning and the achievement of income targets.
Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
