Hendreforgan is a happy and successful Community Primary School with a highly nurturing and inclusive ethos.

Our numbers on roll have risen sharply in recent months to 244, resulting in us opening an additional class.

We are excited to be able to offer a temporary teaching position, initially. This may prove to be a longer-term appointment, if our numbers on roll are maintained.

Governors are looking to appoint an innovative, motivated, and excellent practitioner who is ready to take up the challenge and become an integral part our community at Hendreforgan.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all learners.
• Demonstrates a particular flair in the use of emerging technologies to enhance learning and teaching experiences.
• Excellent skills and confidence in the effective use of a range of AfL techniques and is committed to developing personalised learning for all pupils.
• Works effectively within a strong team ethos both within and between schools, contributing ideas, energy and vision to school improvement initiatives. Will be fully supportive of and involved in the life of the school.
• Has an aspiration to continually improve.

Hendreforgan Community Primary School can offer you:

• A highly inclusive, welcoming, nurturing school with a culture of mutual respect and teamwork.
• A committed team motivated to continually drive school improvements.
• A commitment to providing high quality professional development and continual focus on improving pedagogy.
• An extremely supportive and effective Governing Body.

We strongly encourage potential candidates to contact the Headteacher, Mr. Hughes, to discuss the role and the ethos of our school on either 01443 672934 or alun.hughes@hendreforganprimary.rctcbc.cymru
