We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Essential Skills Co-ordinator to join a pan-Wales organisation committed to serving the adult population of Wales with inspirational, life changing opportunities. We are looking for a highly skilled Essential Skills Co-ordinator who will be able to drive the development of Essential Skills provision and projects across the organisation, including the pan-Wales Flexible Essential Skills Programme.

This is a hands on role, operating at pace, you will support and work closely with Essential Skills tutors and Regional and National Delivery Teams to establish appropriate approaches for the sharing of best practice and to develop and increase Essential Skills provision.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
You will be qualified to PGCE or Cert Ed level, and have a Level 3 Certificate for Essential Skills Practitioners and a Level 4 Assessor Award or predecessor. You will have experience of working in the community and of online/blended learning programmes, and knowledge of Essential Skills provision and delivery.

You will bring excellent communication, interpersonal and Digital skills, and knowledge of Essential Skills Wales qualifications and current issues in the field of adult education in Wales. You will have experience of successful programme coordination, excellent organisational and coordinating skills, and be able to work to tight deadlines. The ability to communicate in Welsh would be an advantage but not essential.
