CARETAKER
G04 £7,478 - £7,603 per annum
13.75 hours per week
39 weeks per year
Starting date: March 4th or as soon as possible after this date
Annual leave to be taken during school holidays
The governors wish to appoint a suitable person to take on the work of caretaker at Ysgol Plas Coch. As well as being responsible for the opening and closing of the school, sometimes outside of school hours, it's expected that the caretaker will be able to undertake minor alterations and repair work, regular testing of systems i.e. fire alarm, emergency lighting and ensure that the building and resources are kept in a safe condition. Also, alongside the head teacher, be responsible for the security of the school, including possibly responding to alarm calls out of school hours.
Appropriate training will be provided by WCBC and there will be an opportunity to shadow the present caretaker.
13.75 hours per week (there is a degree of flexibility to the hours - to be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant) during school terms (including Training days).
