  • Education in Wales is both a career and a calling, enabling you to progress while positively impacting others.

  • Our bilingualism also makes Wales' education system and our learners unique.

Together, we’ll build a diverse education workforce that better represents the whole of Wales. Think you can help us get there?

NATIONAL MISSION
Education has never been more important: to build ambition, encourage lifelong learning and equip learners with the skills they need to succeed in a fast-changing society.

To achieve higher standards of literacy and numeracy

To become more digitally and bilingually competent

To grow as confident, capable and caring citizens of Wales

Education is a lifelong journey and that means our national mission doesn’t stop at the school gates.

We can’t raise standards and reduce the attainment gap without improving access to student support services, ensuring all learners in further education institutions are supported with living costs, and that there is an abundance of professional learning opportunities for people to learn and develop skills throughout their careers.

We are actively encouraging people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), and Welsh language backgrounds to pursue careers within the education sector in order to diversify our workforce.

All this relies on building a workforce of highly dedicated, committed, and resilient education professionals who can help learners aim high and achieve their goals. Could that be you? If so, get in touch with our team today!
