We are recruiting a Place Shaping and Sustainable Communities for Learning Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours
Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time
Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

We pay an attractive salary of £36,648 - £39,186 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Place Shaping and Sustainable Communities for Learning Officer. If you want to support the delivery of projects to enable all parts of the county borough to thrive and enjoy working collaboratively, then we want to hear from you.

  • Key Result Areas:
    Supporting the development and delivery of transformation and capital investment projects aimed at securing the environmental, cultural, economic and social well-being of Caerphilly County Borough.

You will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the team and support the delivery of these exciting and bold change programmes.

The successful candidate must have an excellent work ethic, good communication skills, and a dynamic approach to the role and be able to lead by example

For the role, we ask that you have:
  • A relevant Level 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
  • An understanding of transformation in a public sector setting.
  • A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the Borough to visit sites and attend meetings.
