The Governing Body wishes to appoint a part time temporary classroom teacher to work at Caegarw Primary School to complement our existing team.

Caegarw Primary School is situated in the heart of Mountain Ash in the Cynon Valley. We currently have 168 pupils on roll, it is a vibrant and happy school. The school is within a short distance from the A470 Abercynon roundabout and is also easily accessible from the Aberdare area or further west.

The successful candidate would be responsible for teaching a mixed age group of primary school children and will be sharing a class with an established and experienced member of staff.

  • The ability to work effectively together as members of our strong school team and contribute fully to the life of the school including extra-curricular activities
  • Is able to identify areas of improvement and contribute creatively to help to continue to improve our school
  • Has an excellent understanding of ICT both as a teaching and learning tool
  • Demonstrates strong Welsh language skills and a commitment to promoting Welsh as a second language.
