The governors of Ysgol Dôlafon are seeking to appoint a nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the staff of our happy school. We aspire to provide a nurturing, inclusive and enriching environment that encourages a lifelong love of learning.
Our school is in the small town of Llanwrtyd Wells. Our motto is "Un Teulu Mawr" and we are a close-knit two teacher school. The successful candidate will work in our Key Stage 2 class.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant, who is passionate about supporting learning and building positive relationships with children with a range of needs, and who has the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do so.
You will work under the guidance of our teaching staff to implement and oversee agreed learning activities with individual and small groups of pupils, in or out of the classroom. This may involve assisting in the planning, preparation and delivery of the learning activities, as well as monitoring pupils, assessing, recording and reporting on achievement, progress and development, under the direction of the class teacher.
