Cwmrhydyceirw Primary School is a very happy, thriving and successful school with a current school roll of over 550 pupils across either a two or three form entry. The school is situated in Morriston in Swansea, one mile from junction 45 of the M4 motorway. The school has a reputation for high academic standards. From November 4 2024, due to the promotion to deputy headship of one of the staff, the governing body is looking to appoint a full-time, permanent teacher to join our successful team.

The successful candidate will be:
  • An excellent classroom practitioner who can teach across the whole primary range.
  • Have the highest expectations of pupils' achievement, attitudes and behaviour.
  • Someone who can work closely and cooperatively with all staff and be an active part of a successful team.
  • Willing to support or add to the wide variety of extra-curricular activities within the school.
  • Someone who closely matches the attached person specification.

Shortlisting for the post is Monday 9 September and candidates selected for interview will be contacted on this date. Candidates will be invited to the school to teach a lesson towards the end of the same week and interviews will take place at the school on Thursday 19 September.
