Deputy Chief Executive - People Experiences & Culture

Coleg Cambria is a sector leading, high performing college built on the strength and talents of our colleagues. Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are looking to appoint a new Deputy Chief Executive - People Experiences & Culture to the senior leadership team to support us in our trajectory of excellence.
A large and diverse College, Coleg Cambria is the main provider of tertiary and further education in North East Wales, across five main sites. With our learners at the centre of all that we do, we pride ourselves in providing a personalised, high quality learning experience for our 6,000 full-time and 20,000 part-time students. We offer a breadth of courses including A Levels, GCSEs, BTECs, Welsh for Adults, ESOL, Higher Education, apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities.
As one of the largest employers in the area we are active within our communities and economies, building aspiration and skills, while making a significant contribution to the region's economic growth and cultural life.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding professional with great leadership and communications skills to the role of Deputy Chief Executive - People Experiences & Culture to lead a multi-functional team of HR, Inclusion, Student Support, Marketing and Admissions.
Our successful candidate will bring a strong track record in senior leadership and people management within a large, complex, values-based organisation. You should have strategic experience of human resources (preferably CIPD qualified), organisational development and business planning, with the ability to lead on new initiatives and manage cross-organisational change.
The ability to inspire people and instil innovation is of key importance, as is the commitment to prioritise, value and embed an organisational culture that has people at its heart. Our focus on social partnership enables our senior leaders to communicate openly and with integrity we put colleagues at the heart of our decision making. The ability to work as a team as well as independently is essential and our behaviours support our values of fairness and equality.
