We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Teaching Assistant (Level 1) who is flexible, energetic and committed to working well as part of a team. The role will consist of supporting a pupil with additional needs, they will require significant support within the classroom. The role is being offered on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be required to work under the guidance of the Class Teacher, they will need to be committed to helping the child/children achieve their full potential, they will need to be sensitive to the needs and well-being of all. Communication and interpersonal skills are essential as well as a genuine commitment to the overall care and development of pupils. We strive to recruit individuals who have a passion for professional learning and a positive outlook in every aspect of school life.
Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
