Caretaker

Salary: £24,790 per annum

To commence as soon as possible.

Work hours: Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 10am - 6pm & Friday 10am - 5.30pm
Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm & Friday 8am - 3.30pm

Dwr y Felin Governing Body are looking to appoint an enthusiastic member of staff to work as a full time
caretaker in their premises department.

The successful candidate will have the attributes needed to
undertake the range of duties associated with the post, including:
• Self-motivation and the ability to take the initiative to deal with problems as they arise
• Excellent practical skills and a pride in their work
• Good skills in working with both adults and children
• An awareness and understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Excellent organisational skills
• A flexible approach to working hours
• To attend as required, the opening and closing of the premises at designated times and be
responsible for general security at all times
• School caretakers may be called out during unsociable hours or at weekends to deal with
security problems, and allow access for emergency repairs.
