Ysgol Hen Felin is a highly regarded, sector leading special school which caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties, Profound and Multiple learning difficulties, and pupils on the autistic spectrum. From spring 2024, the school will be situated over three sites. The main site is located at Ystrad Rhondda with satellite provisions based in Tonyrefail and the local college. You may be required to work across either site although we would look to deploy staff according to their skill set.
Due to increasing pupil numbers, the Governing Body are seeking to appoint a number of forward thinking and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants. Experience of working with pupils who have additional learning needs (ALN) is essential.
