Teacher (Progression Step 2 Leader) - Milford Haven Community Primary School

Milford Haven Community Primary School Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Progression Step 2 leader to lead on teaching and learning across Years 1 to 3, as well as an AOLE responsibility based on interest and experience. This post will be paid on Mainscale to Upper pay scale with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR2 - £3451).This post will hold a full-time teaching commitment, however, PPA and designated leadership time will be provided to support the leadership aspect of the role and maintain a good work-life balance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and reflective practitioner, as well as a motivated individual looking for that next step in senior leadership at a school.
You will join us at a time of exciting development at Milford, as we have worked tirelessly over the past two years embedding our new curriculum and approaches to teaching and learning used at the school. We are looking for someone who meets the person specifications in the job description and who:
- is a high-quality primary practitioner with high aspirations for pupils, who can model good practice to their team.
- has previous middle/senior leadership experience and success within a school setting.
- is passionate and knowledgeable about children's learning and development, and applies that knowledge in the classroom to secure the best progress possible for all learners.
- has a detailed knowledge and understanding of pedagogy, and is engaged with the four purposes and learning experiences that are central to current curriculum reform.
- is caring, kind, and patient and has a sense of humour to provide our pupils the support and guidance they require to be successful.
