Job description
The governors of Llanbister Primary School are seeking to appoint a nurturing and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join the staff of our happy school. We aspire to provide a nurturing, inclusive and enriching environment that encourages a lifelong love of learning and experiences that last a lifetime. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated teaching assistant, who is passionate about supporting learning and building positive relationships with children with a range of needs. The successful applicant will require the knowledge, skills, and ability to build purposeful relationships with pupils and to support them effectively to reach their potential.
You will work under the guidance of our teaching staff to implement and oversee agreed learning activities with individual and small groups of pupils, this may include assisting in the preparation and delivery of the learning activities, as well as monitoring pupils, and reporting on achievement, progress and development, under the direction of the class teacher.
