Penllergaer Primary School is situated in Penllergaer, Swansea. We are a school that prides itself on its ethos, environment and the desire to do the very best for all within the school community. Penllergaer Primary has two specialist units for pupils with Profound and Multiple learning difficulties. The infant facility is for children 3 - 7 years of age and the junior facility caters for 7 - 11 years old. There is a maximum of 6 children in each provision. Our Mission Statement is 'Our School Is For Everyone'. We are supported by our excellent, committed Governing Body and a dedicated, enthusiastic and talented team of staff who work hard to ensure our pupils receive the best possible start in life.
The headteacher and governors are keen to appoint a skilled and motivated leader to the post of Deputy Headteacher to join our friendly and professional team.
The right candidate for this position will have experience of teaching and leading a subject, key stage or year group. They must have a proven track record of being able to plan strategically to lead, manage, motivate and inspire teams of teachers in innovative strategies to improve learning and teaching.
The Governors are keen to appoint a highly motivated and excellent teacher with energy and enthusiasm to the position of Deputy Head to start on 1 September 2025.
