The John Frost School is an oversubscribed, successful school for students aged 11-18. The school has a long-standing reputation for being supportive and caring and there has been significant development in recent years leading to achieving excellent results for our students.
We provide our students with outstanding pastoral care and are looking to appoint a new member of staff to work within our Pastoral Team as a Teaching Assistant, based in our internal exclusion room to provide support to individual students who need help in overcoming barriers to their learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of the internal exclusion room, maintaining our high expectations of student conduct. The focus will be on promoting a culture of accountability, self-discipline, partnership, respect and excellence. By fostering these values, you will help create an environment where every student is encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and build respectful relationships. Through positive reinforcement and guidance, you will ensure that students working in the Exclusion Room follow the school’s expectations around our Ready to Learn behaviour system.
