All activities linked to this role will involve extensive collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including employers, apprentices, faculties and central college teams. Effective employer engagement will form part of the role to promote the college's products and services.
The post holder must demonstrate initiative, good organisational skills and sound time management skills. The post holder will be expected to work to an agreed caseload and as such will be asked to work extensively off site to meet the demands of the role.
The post holder will be expected to work to a standard that will enable them to meet all of the key performance indicators set by the college.
Key Responsibilities
- To plan, monitor and evaluate learner's progress against their framework;
- To liaise with employers and learners on learner's progress;
- To assist in the management of specified training in the work place and /or college and monitor the delivery of the learner programme;
- To liaise with managers, teachers, assessors and learners to ensure effective completion and achievement of frameworks
Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseEssential Criteria:
- NVQ Level 5 or equivalent (sector relevant)
- GCSE English and Mathematics at minimum Grade C or O Level equivalent
- Assessor Awards (however training will be provided)
- Relevant recent sector experience
- Evidence of CPD that demonstrates engagement in activities to maintain up to date knowledge and skills of industry practices, products and equipment
- Competence in the use of a range of IT systems and packages, including Google suite
- Good communicator with diplomacy and tact
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good presentational skills
- A current driving licence & ability to travel
- IOSH Managing Safely
- First Aid at Work
- Welsh Oracy (Listening/Speaking) - Level 3/4
- Welsh Literacy (Writing/Reading) - Level 3/4
