Required for September 2025, a full-time enthusiastic and innovative classroom practitioner to teach Science across the age and ability range at Bryngwyn School. This is a permanent role, candidates of all Science specialisms and NQTs are welcome to apply.

This appointment offers an excellent opportunity for a first class, dedicated teacher who wishes to join a dynamic department and has the ability and vision to lead pupils to exceptional outcomes. There is a strong team ethos within the department, working collaboratively as a Science team and across the Science & Technology AoLE, to ensure all pupils reach their full potential. A brand-new Science facility is currently under construction, and this will allow the successful candidate to provide outstanding learning opportunities for our pupils.

Bryngwyn and Glan-y-Môr are very popular and highly successful 11-16 schools and the Federation is committed to achieving the best for all its pupils. The schools are high-achieving and well-resourced schools, renowned for academic excellence and outstanding performance.

This is an exciting time to join the Science Department as they work collaboratively to continue to develop innovative approaches within the New Curriculum for Wales. Pupils receive a range of learning opportunities that enrich their learning experience in STEM activities, and the department is committed to developing its approach to the New Curriculum. The department comprises a supportive, committed and hardworking team of staff who are highly successful with excellent outcomes.

Bryngwyn and Glan-y-Môr Schools are part of a federation that strives to develop excellent standards and opportunities for all its pupils. In this context, the successful candidate would be expected to work collaboratively and closely with colleagues across the federation.
