32.5 hours per week
Reception to Year 2
Temporary up to 31 August 2026
The Governors of Litchard Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, creative, and dedicated primary teacher to lead the development of our brand-new Foundation Learning ASD class, supporting pupils aged 5–7 (Reception to Year 2). This is a fixed-term position for one year in the first instance.
We are looking for a practitioner who:
- Has a passion for high-quality primary education and inclusive practice
- Is an excellent classroom teacher with a nurturing and adaptable approach
- Brings experience of working in specialist placement settings
- Has a strong understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to whole-school life
This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new provision and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs.
