We seek to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who will join an enthusiastic and dedicated team working with students who have support from the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Inclusion Department at Penglais. The main focus of your work will involve supporting students in the Lifeskills provision within the school, supporting the delivery of a bespoke curriculum, in and out of school, according to the needs of the students; supporting the behaviour, emotional and social needs of students and working flexibly with others in the ALN and Inclusion department.

There are two positions available: one is permanent, and the other is a fixed-term contract for one year.

The right candidate will enjoy working in a busy environment. You will be required to use your own initiative to ensure that students can access the curriculum and that they are making good progress in their learning. This is a role that would suit an ambitious individual who has a genuine interest in supporting students to meet their potential.
