The Governing body seeks to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, hard-working Level 1 teaching assistant with an interest in additional learning needs, who is committed to supporting and promoting positive pupil well-being and learner experiences as well as working towards continuing their own professional development.
As a Level 1 Teaching Assistant you will be working within our Foundation Phase department providing 1:1 support for a pupil with learning needs.
The successful candidate will support the pupil to work both within and outside the class individually and in small groups. You will contribute to and work on prepared education plans. You will also be expected to work closely with the ALNCo; outside agencies; the pupils' parents and the class teachers to support the pupils' learning. Experience of working with pupils who have additional needs is desirable.
