Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Assistant Level 3 - Supporting and Delivering Learning at Llanmiloe Community Primary School. This is a fixed-term, term-time only post for one academic year in the first instance, commencing September 2025, with the potential to be extended depending on future funding and pupil needs.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the class teacher to lead learning for a small group of Foundation Phase pupils. This role involves delivering planned learning activities, supporting pupil development, and rotating with the class teacher to ensure all pupils benefit from high-quality teaching. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing school community with a strong commitment to inclusive learning.
Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent experience) and demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational, and teaching support skills. Experience in the Foundation Phase and supporting small-group learning is desirable.
Applicants must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) prior to appointment.
DBS Level
An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for this role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relating to children or adults at risk.
Welsh Language Requirement
Verbal Level 1 - A basic knowledge of Welsh is required. Reasonable support can be provided upon appointment to reach this level.
