Performance and Information Team Analyst

Salary: Grade 6 - £27,269 - £30,060

An opportunity has arisen in the Performance and Information team of the Education Directorate for a Team Data Analyst.

 

The role of the Data Analyst will be to work with schools and support them on using their MIS system (full training will be given) as well as supporting the Team in complex data analysis as identified by Officers within the Education Directorate and wider teams. The role will include manipulating and collating information from various systems to provide relevant data/information for stakeholder.

 

The successful candidate will need: 

 
  • Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases or similar applications.
  • Proven organisational and project management skills in order to balance conflicting priorities and manage a diverse workload
  • Analyse performance data and provide guidance on its use to service managers
  • You will need to be a motivated team player, as well as having the ability to work on your own initiative, with excellent communication skills.
