Ysgol Tanyfron has a temporary post required to cover PPA across the school, to commence from 1st September 2025.
The Governing Body of Ysgol Tanyfron wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspiring classroom practitioner for the above post. Ysgol Tanyfron is a caring and dedicated school, which secures high standards for pupils' learning and wellbeing. The successful candidate will:
1. Believe in a holistic approach to teaching and learning where the well-being of pupils is at the core of your practice.
2. Demonstrate high expectations and an understanding of the diverse range of children's learning and behavioural needs.
3. Awareness of new initiatives within teaching such as the Curriculum for Wales and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Reform.
4. Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to work across the school, effectively manage and support teaching assistants and communicate well with parents/guardians.
5. Be confident and creative in the use of digital technology.
6. Be willing to take an active part in the wider life of the school.
