Person Centred Review (PCR) and Individual Development Plan (IDP) Officer

Salary: Grade 9 - £39,513 - £43,693 per annum.
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a PCR and IDP Officer.As a PCR and IDP Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Local Authority (LA) in the discharge of its duties under the Additional Learning Needs Education and Tribunal (ALNET) Wales Act 2018 and the accompanying Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Code for Wales 2021.
- Supporting the LA with the development, management and quality assurance of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) as set out in the ALNET Wales Act 2018.
- To assist the ALNSS Manager in coordinating and discharging the LA's duties in relation to the development, management and quality assurance of Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- To organise and lead Person Centred Review (PCR) meetings between the learner, parents/carers and all agencies involved with the young person to create a fully integrated IDP between all parties.
- To prepare high quality Local Authority Maintained IDPs, which meet all legal requirements, in accordance with the statutory advice received, within the appropriate and applicable timescales.
- To participate in the quality control monitoring of the format of completed IDPs.
- Experience of conducting Person Centred Reviews and developing plans for Children and Young People with ALN.

- Experience of working collaboratively with parents and agencies.
