Body & Paint Instructor

Cardiff and Vale College

Salary: £25,374 - £29,945 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Instructor/Demonstrator in Body and Paint to join CAVC Automotive department.

The role involves planning, delivering & assessing practical instruction to a range of full, part time and pre-16 students, underpinning knowledge and skills associated with practical vocational competencies. You will assist in the supervision and instruction of students, prepare display materials, visual aids and other teaching resources, be responsible for aspects of administration, organisation and supervision of any particular areas as required by the Course Management Team.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Possession of a Level 3 qualification in a related subject
  • A willingness to work towards a Teacher Training Qualification
  • Knowledge of current Health & Safety Regulation
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Ability to teach practical skills and to supervise a range of full and part time students
