Term Time Only for 42 weeks
Fixed term until 31st August 2026
Location: Across all campuses
Term Time Only Salary (based on full 42 weeks worked) - £21,394 per annum. Please note, actual salary will be based on the number of weeks worked for the remainder of the academic year.
Job Purpose: To prepare and produce a wide variety of dishes within the
Catering outlets across campuses whilst ensuring all EHO, sustainability and
financial procedures are followed.
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of cleaning processes and materials
- Ability to assist in producing dishes to a high standard
- Knowledge of industrial/school catering
- Level 2 food safety or equivalent
- High culinary skills
- Enthusiasm for cooking and creating new menus
Desirable criteria
- Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent
- Experience of using "accelerated cooking processes" including Combination & Turbo ovens
- Allergen & Healthy food qualification
