Role Title: Deputy Restaurant General Manager
Location: Yale
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £34,312 - £36,748
Coleg Cambria has an exciting opportunity to join our Hospitality team. We are recruiting for a Deputy General Manager (Restaurant and Events).
As Deputy General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager by leading on the operation of the Ial Restaurant and all hospitality events across the college, both on and off site. A key part of the role will be to lead, develop, and inspire staff and students working in the department to deliver excellent food and service at every level.
You will also work collaboratively with the curriculum team to ensure a smooth transition for students from the learning environment into commercial practice, giving them opportunities to gain valuable hands-on experience in live service and event delivery.

Essential Requirements
- NVQ 3 Restaurant Supervision or similar
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage services within the sector
- Demonstrable experience of proactively providing outstanding service
- .Experience of working with apprentices and those in training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, tact and discretion.
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
