The Governing Body seeks to appoint an inspirational Head of School due to the promotion of the previous postholder to headship in another secondary school.

Set just off the M4 Corridor and adjacent to the attractive Llanelli coastline, Bryngwyn is a school operating at the cutting edge of educational excellence. Bryngwyn School provides an outstanding education for 1100 pupils aged 11-16 and, since 2014, has worked in strategic federation very successfully with Ysgol Glan y Môr School, Burry Port. Bryngwyn is on the cusp of an exciting new phase in its development. There is a significant school modernisation project imminent to develop a new block for science, well-being and canteen area, in addition to the development of innovative all-weather sporting facilities. As a Pioneer School, we have the ambition to develop sector leading practice across multiple spheres, from displaying high value added, promoting well-being, to developing high outcomes across the core and foundation subjects. There is significant focus on action research and enquiry. The Governing Body seeks to appoint an exceptional leader to join the existing high-performing executive leadership team as Head of School for Bryngwyn. The Head of School will take responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day operations on the Bryngwyn School site and contribute to the strategic leadership of the Federation in conjunction with the Executive Headteacher and Federation Senior Leadership Team.
You will:
• be emotionally intelligent and bring with you evidence of having delivered successful outcomes through leading, supporting, developing and challenging colleagues to succeed
• continually seek and act on feedback to enhance pupil experience, continue to raise progress and standards and further develop as a leader
