TEMPORARY TEACHER (MATERNITY COVER)

Salary: Teacher Pay Scale

Required to Start: 27th February 2023 or as soon after as possible.

The Governors of Penygawsi Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to work in our school covering a maternity leave until July 2023.

You will need to be flexible and willing to work with pupils in Progression Step 3. The successful candidate will become a member of a team of professionals committed to working effectively with our pupils to meet their learning needs.

Experience of working with pupils within Progression Step 2 or 3 would be advantageous, but a person who has energy, commitment and a willingness to learn would be welcome to apply.

We are looking for an individual who:

• Can demonstrate a willingness and ability to promote and develop the school’s distinctive creative and innovative character;
• Has the belief in developing the talent in each and every child;
• Will develop the high standards that currently exist throughout the school;
• Has the enthusiasm, energy and ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support our pupils;
• Has excellent communication skills to work in partnership with children, parents/carers, staff, governors and the local and wider community.
