Due to expansion of The Built Environment Learning Area, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Plumber to join a highly motivated and committed team.
With a proven track record in Plumbing/heating and a current up to date knowledge of the sector you will be instrumental in delivering curriculum on a wide range of courses from the Schools provision through to full time courses, apprenticeships and higher level courses which include renewable and environmental provision.
A requirement of the role is that you will possess a Level 3 qualification in Plumbing. In addition you will also be required to hold the ACS Gas qualification. You will possess a level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) literacy & numeracy qualification and be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
We are looking for inspiring individuals with a good knowledge of relevant regulations who wish to impart their knowledge and experience in delivering technical training.
You will develop and employ a variety of learning strategies, including the use of ILT, to ensure excellence in teaching and learning and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment.
As a clear and confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students. You will have good organisational and problem solving skills and will be prepared to work flexibly.

Salary: £22,581 - £44,442 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
