Role Title: Vice Principal Academic Studies

Location: This role is a cross-site position

Contract Type: Permanent/ Full Time

Salary: £82,845 - £88,701

This role at Coleg Cambria takes responsibility for the growth strategy and management of the delivery of our Higher Education and Access programmes along with A level delivery across all sites. Our ideal candidate will have management and leadership experience and an understanding of the educational landscape. Someone who is committed to the highest levels of quality, performance and standards and is able to work collaboratively with key partners to grow the curriculum provision.
  • Provide outstanding strategic and operational management of the Directorate through effective leadership of the development, planning, delivery and monitoring of A Level and HE curriculum and of the student experience.
  • To be fully accountable to the Deputy Chief Executive - Principal for ensuring the curriculum is meeting the needs of local employers; local and national priorities; supports the local communities; addresses all age groups and abilities: meets its targets set out in Curriculum and Business planning; identifies future requirements and opportunities.
  • To develop and monitor strategic plans and action plans to meet national requirements for quality standards across teaching and learning. Responding to the requirements of external quality bodies such as Estyn, Ofsted and Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).
