Job description
The Headteacher and Governing Body of Risca Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and creative HLTA to join their hard-working, committed team at their happy and successful school.
Risca Primary School is a warm, welcoming school with high expectations. We are looking for staff with high expectations of both themselves and the children in their care, and have experience of delivering high quality provision to ensure that children are actively engaged in their learning. It is expected that candidates will be able to demonstrate good inter-personal and communication skills, and have a skill set which promotes good behaviour for learning within a range of classes in our school.
As a member of our staff, you will have a proven record of being able to work well within a team. You will have direct experience of liaising with parents and providing positive, constructive feedback to parents 'on the door'. You will also be able to demonstrate that you have proven experience of contributing to the planning and preparation of exciting learning opportunities for young children. As the HLTA you will be responsible for PPA cover in the school and will ideally have a flair for developing pupils artistic and creative skills.
