About the Role

As a ULP Coach. you will facilitate the delivery of on-line learning/assessment and support activities to develop learners skills in literacy, numeracy and digital literacy across the
curriculum. You will identify, assess and support learners who are at risk of disengaging out of education and becoming NEET and help learners achieve their full potential by implementing
individual support programmes that may include: academic support, study strategies, attendance support, mentoring and the development of social and employment skills. You will assist learners with the transition into, through and out of college.

Based in the Learning Support Department's ULP Team, this exciting Learning Coach role will focus primarily on providing 1:1 support interventions for learners at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and will feed into the wider 'Inspire FE' project being run in collaboration with Caerphilly County Borough Council.

The successful candidate will be able to meet target driven deadlines whilst being committed to providing meaningful support for learners at risk.

Staff   employed at Coleg y Cymoedd will have responsibility for the safeguarding and for the promoting   the   welfare of learner.
Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the College, either at your principal place of work or other College premises, commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the role.
