Assistant Licensing Manager
Job description
Caerphilly County Borough Council has a vacancy for a highly motivated, dedicated, and experienced local authority Assistant Licensing Manager. Applicants must possess a relevant level 3 Qualification, Institute of Licensing Professional Practitioners Qualification, and a detailed knowledge of local authority Licensing & Registration functions.
The successful postholder will have supervisory responsibility for a team of Licensing officers and deputise for the Licensing Manager as required across all functions. They will provide expert advice to team members, senior officers, Members, the public and other partners & stakeholders. Knowledge of financial systems, controls and excellent communication skills are essential. The role will also include the Responsible Authority for CCBC Licensing service under the Licensing Act 2003.
