Lliswerry High School – Pastoral Support Full time term time only

Fixed Term until 31.08.24, Grade 5 SCP 12-17 (£26,421 - £28,770 pro rata)

Working hours 08:00 – 16:00/08:30 – 16:30 Monday – Friday (37 hours)

The Governing Body of Lliswerry High School are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with young people and adults, combining tact, diplomacy and discretion. The successful candidate will be well organised, self-confident, enthusiastic and motivated and enjoy working with young people. They will be a key part of the school pastoral team, working with individuals and small groups of children and liaising with families. The ability to speak Slovak or Romanian is welcomed although not essential.

The successful candidate will be joining the school at a very exciting time in the schools development.

Each role is full time 37 hours per week during term time only (39 weeks)

Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.
