About us
The school was established in 1894 and has a long tradition as a happy and successful establishment.
The school provides education for pupils between 11 and 16 years old and serves the towns of Porthmadog, Cricieth and the rural villages of the area.
Our vision is to ensure bilingual pupils that can confidently achieve the highest possible standards through continuous effort, co-operation and respect for others. Our message to our pupils is BE OUTSTANDING!
We will support our pupils to ensure confident pupils who give of their best with the ability to learn independently and with a growth mindset; to ensure that pupils are willing to co-operate with others, and respect everyone whilst supporting each other
by ensuring an interesting and appropriate curriculum for pupils, preparing them for the twenty-first century.
The school has a welcoming and supportive ethos.
