About us
Our Youth Service works with young people between 11 and 25. It consists of universal open access youth provision and a variety of targeted programmes for young people who may require additional support on their journey to adulthood as positive contributors to their communities.

Universal provision: two local authority managed open access youth clubs and a team of street based youth workers, plus commissioned third sector open access youth clubs, including a Welsh language provision. Our youth clubs provide young people with the opportunity to access non-formal and informal learning opportunities and activities, including arts and culture, sport and physical activities and awards such as the DofE and Youth Achievement Award.

Targeted programmes: support young people who may be NEET or at risk of becoming NEET when they leave school or college; be experiencing emotional and mental wellbeing difficulties or who might be at risk of homelessness; as well as support for young people in families with multiple needs.

We offer both our staff and those of our partners access to professional youth work and leadership qualifications along with other professional development opportunities.
