The Headteacher and Governing Body at Clytha Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly organised, enthusiastic, and highly motivated person to clean our school at the beginning of the school day from 6am-8:30am. Having a clean school sets the standard for a safe, happy day and we value our Cleaning Staff greatly.
As the successful candidate you will have proven experience of cleaning, a passion for getting the job done well and a pride in this important role as it makes all the difference. A can-do attitude and an eye for detail are essential. A flexible approach and willingness to react to last minute changes will make you an excellent addition to our school.
Qualifications / Experience:
Essential
Awareness of Health & safety.
Able to interact and engage with staff.
Self -motivated and enthusiastic with a flexible approach to work.
Desirable
Previous experience of working in a similar environment.
Previous cleaning experience.

The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
The post is offered on a part time basis of 12.5 hours per week, over 52 weeks per year. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6.00am – 8.30am. Holidays must be taken during school holiday periods.
