Full Time Permanent Teacher required for Speech & Language Resourced Provision

(Foundation Phase)

A suitably qualified and/or experienced teacher is required to teach and effectively coordinate the educational provision for pupils with significant speech, language and communication difficulties. The role includes the coordination of a dedicated team of support staff and requires partnership practice with speech and language therapists, parents, mainstream staff and a range of professionals.

The appointed candidate will be based at Acton Park CP School but may also be required to share expertise through an advisory/training role across the Local Authority, if appropriately qualified and/or experienced.

Please Note that the successful candidate will be required to complete a postgraduate diploma in 'language and communication impairment in children' throughSheffield University.

This post is a full-time permanent post.

Pay scale: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (TLR may be offered dependent on candidates skills, experience and ability to undertake a wider role)
