Job description
From 5 hours part time up to 37 hours full-time available
Term time
Temporary up to 2 year
An enthusiastic, motivated, and committed person is required to support children with additional needs in the mainstream classroom as a Special Needs Support Assistant.
A level 2 qualification in Childcare is required. Some experience of working with children and young people who have additional needs would be an advantage.
Full driving licence is required and use of own vehicle during working hours is essential.
You will be expected to work in education settings, across the borough, according to the needs of the Learner Support Service.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
Applicants should note that a criminal record check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) will be necessary for the successful applicant.
