The Governors of Ysgol Sŵn y Don are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified Foundation Phase Teacher who has experience/further qualifications in teaching pupils with additional learning difficulties. The successful candidate will be in charge of the Foundation Phase Learning Resource Base within the school. They will teach a small class of children with identified learning difficulties and support their integration into their mainstream schools. We are looking to appoint a dynamic teacher who works well as a member of a team and who is committed to working as part of the wider school community. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with other teachers in the school to support school projects and inclusion across the whole school. The post holder will be offered a full time permanent contract.
The ability to teach and communicate effectively through the medium
Welsh is desirable for this post.
Due to the nature of the post the successful candidate will be subject to a disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
It is a requirement that successful candidate will need to register with the Education Workforce Council prior to commencing employment
