The College Merthyr Tydfil College is looking to recruit a member of staff within their busy Computer Services department. The department provides end-user, desktop, network, and server support.
The post holder will be working as part of a 3-person Desktop Support team providing first line end-user hardware and software support to staff and students across the College.
The candidate will be expected to have good knowledge of current Microsoft windows operating systems plus a good understanding of computer/PC hardware
The candidate will possess a recent level 3 qualification in an IT discipline.
The post requires excellent communication skills, as the role will be customer facing, and will also have an enthusiasm to learn, good organisation skills and a flexible approach to work.
An enhanced DBS check is a requirement of this post.
