Teaching Assistant Level 4 (HLTA)

Part time (17 hours) and permanent. Term time only

Tuesday 12.30pm – 3.45pm

Wednesdays 8.35am – 4.45pm.

Thursdays 8.35am – 3.45pm

*There is an option to make this a full time post with the other 17 hours a teaching assistant level 3 post. Please state clearly on your application if you are applying for the HLTA post only or the split post (HLTA and Level 3).

We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant who:

• Can deliver PPA across the school from Nursery to Year 6 including LRB classes;
• Will commit to working positively for our pupils and school community;
• Will support learners in all aspects of their development:
• Will work in mainstream classes and our learning resource base classes:
• Will use their skillset and expertise to enhance learning opportunities for our pupils;
• Will work under the guidance of teachers, yet will show initiative and integrity
• Uses professional learning to develop their own knowledge
• Work collaboratively with other school staff to share practice.
• Demonstrates highly effective teaching.

Shortlisting: Week beginning 8th April 2024 followed by an interview and activities with pupils

Start date: 2nd September 2024.

Candidates will have NVQ level 24Teaching Assistant, or an equivalent, qualification.
